Spartans Get Power Surge in Road Win

AMHERST, Mass. – Gianna Beacco, Jade Abderhalden and Lexi Carpenter each homered Wednesday to lead the Monument Mountain softball team to a 23-3 win over Amherst-Pelham.
 
Abderhalden went 3-for-3 with a double and her homer.
 
Beacco went 4-for-4 and drove in six runs.
 
Carpenter finished with five RBIs.
 
Ember Raifstanger tripled, and Andrea Paul was 2-for-4 with a double and a pair of RBIs in a 17-hit attack for the Spartans.
 
Three Monument  Mountain pitchers combined to scatter four hits in the five-inning win.
 
The Spartans (6-2) go to Gateway on Monday.
