McCann Tech Softball Continues Hot Start Offensively

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Gabby Driscoll went 2-for-3 with a home run and a double Thursday to lead the McCann Tech softball team to a 23-2 win over Mount Everett.
 
The Hornets, who have scored 45 runs in their first two games, pounded out 13 hits to earn the win.
 
Maggie Worhle was 2-for-2 with a triple. Shaylee Lawson was 2-for-3 with a double and four RBIs and scored four times.
 
Addison Pause and Avery Lane each also doubled in the win.
 
Gabby Driscoll and Emma LeMire split time in the circle in the five-inning win. Driscoll struck out four and allowed two runs - one earned - in four innings of work. LeMire worked a scoreless fifth.
 
Emily Gilmore was 1-for-3 with an RBI for Mount Everett.
 
The Eagles (2-4) host Chicopee on Tuesday, April 29.
 
McCann Tech (2-0) is at Drury on Friday afternoon.
