Armold Powers Lenox Past McCann Tech

LENOX, Mass. -- Hailey Armold went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs Saturday to lead the Lenox softball team to an 8-1 win over McCann Tech.

 

Evelyn Julieano went 3-for-4, and Amaya Alger doubled in an eight-hit attack for the Millionaires.

 

Julieano also went the distance in the circle, striking out six, walking two and scattering eight hits.

 

Shaylee Lawson had two of those hits, including a double, for McCann Tech. Aiden Champney went 2-for-3, and Addison Pause doubled for the Hornets.

 

Avery Lane pitched six innings for McCann Tech, striking out three and allowing five earned runs.

 

The Hornets (2-2) go to Hoosac Valley on Monday.

 

Lenox (5-0) is at Pittsfield on Monday.
