East Longmeadow Baseball Edges Taconic

EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass. – East Longmeadow’s Sean Krol and Mason Ruel combined on a no-hitter, and the Spartans handed Taconic its second one-run loss in two days, 5-4, on Friday.

 

The Thunder took advantage of eight East Longmeadow errors and two walks to account for its offense.

 

Quentin Christopher drove in a pair of runs in the loss.

 

Chase Wendling and Evan Roccabruna combined to allow no earned runs on the mound for Taconic.

 

Taconic (4-5) goes to West Springfield on Monday.
