NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — On behalf of the Drury Portrait of a Graduate Student Team and Drury staff, North Adams Public Schools families and community members are invited to attend Drury High School's first annual End of Semester Showcase.

The showcase takes place on Jan. 23 from 11:30AM–2:00PM at the school.

The showcase will offer audiences an understanding of what Drury students have learned during their Project-Based Learning courses, and the types of academic content they've explored.

End-of-semester work from Project-Based Learning classes will be presented and displayed by Drury students.

Students will also share a video presentation highlighting the BERK12 Berkshire Portrait of Graduate competencies to which their Crew classes align. Drury's new Crew module is an advisory program in which students are grouped according to interests and continuously work together to build community, show citizenship, and embody the Portrait of a Graduate competencies as: prepared individuals, responsible people, lifelong learners, and better communicators.

The Showcase will take place in both the Drury High School gym and the auditorium.

Community members and families are invited to arrive and sign in at the Drury main office between 11:30–11:45AM. Upon arrival, families and community members will be split into two alphabetical groups based on last names and visit both presentation sites in a cycle, escorted by student guides, beginning at 11:45AM.

At 2PM, families and community attendees will sign out of the building, however caregivers will not be allowed to dismiss their student(s) early, but may wait for student dismissal at 2:20PM outside of the building. For more information, contact Angela Quinto at aquinto@napsk12.org.
