Lenox Outslugs Monument Mountain

LENOX, Mass. – Lenox Memorial’s Grace Julieano went 3-for-3 with a double Tuesday to lead the Millionaires to a 15-11 win over Monument Mountain.

 

Lexi Witherell was 2-for-3 with a double for undefeated Lenox, which clinched a spot in the state tournament with its 10th win of the season.

 

Evelyn Julieano and Cassidy Flynn shared the workload in the circle, combining to strike out six.

 

Monument Mountain was led by Jade Abderhalden, who went 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs.

 

Lexi Carpenter and Sammy Ullrich each was 3-for-4 with a double in the loss.

 

Monument Mountain (6-3) is at Mount Greylock on Saturday morning.

 

Lenox (10-0) is at Smith Vocational on Wednesday for the first game of a home-and-home against the Vikings.
