South Hadley Softball Edges Wahconah

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. – Isabella Schaeffer struck out five in a complete-game effort Friday as the South Hadley softball team beat Wahconah, 4-2.

 

The Tigers rallied with two runs in the fifth to tie the game, and Schaeffer drove in a pair of runs in the sixth to put her team ahead.

 

Harper Keay tripled, and Sammie Kaley and Kenadi Arnhold each doubled for Wahconah.

 

Marlee Arnhold took the loss in the circle, striking out eight, walking none and allowing three earned runs.

 

Wahconah (3-4) hosts Frontier on Monday night.
