Tart Powers Hurricanes Past Comp

ADAMS, Mass. – Izabela Tart went 3-for-3 with a pair of home runs Tuesday to lead the Hoosac Valley softball team to an 18-3 win over Chicopee Comprehensive.

 

Tart drove in eight runs for the Hurricanes (10-0), who secured a spot in the state tournament with their first win.

 

Gianna Witek was 2-for-4 with a double in an eight-hit Hoosac Valley attack.

 

She also split time in the circle with Gracelyn Wright, who left after two innings with two strikeouts, no hits and no runs allowed.

 

Hoosac Valley Wednesday is home against Pittsfield.
