Unbeaten Hurricanes Win at Chicopee

CHICOPEE, Mass. – Hannah Lord went 2-for-4 with a double Friday to lead the Hoosac Valley softball team to an 11-4 win over Chicopee.

 

Lord drove in a pair of runs for the Hurricanes, who made the most of their seven hits, taking advantage of three Chicopee errors to produce six unearned runs.

 

Genevieve Lagess and Trinity Brackett each drove in a pair of runs in the win.

 

Gracelyn Wright struck out 12 and allowed three earned runs in a complete-game win in the circle.

 

Hoosac Valley (9-0) hosts Mount Greylock on Saturday afternoon.
