Tart, Hurricanes Overpower Blue Devils
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Izabela Tart went 4-for-4 with a home run and a double Thursday to lead the Hoosac Valley softball team to an 18-2 win over Drury.
Tart drove in three runs and scored four times in the five-inning win.
Hannah Lord and Rachael Wnuk also each homered.
Wnuk went 3-for-4 at the plate, as did Gracelyn Wright.
Wright also went the distance in the circle, striking out eight, walking one and allowing no earned runs.
Drury got hits from Madison Saunders and Arianna Rivard.
The Blue Devils (0-4) hosts McCann Tech on Friday.
Hoosac Valley (6-0) hosts the Hornets on Monday.
