Lynch Hits Milestone in Lee Win

LEE, Mass. – Bri Lynch struck out 18, including the 800th of her high school career, to lead the Lee softball team to an 18-2 win over Westfield Tech on Wednesday.

 

Lynch walked two, scattered six hits and allowed one earned run in the complete-game win.

 

She also helped her cause by going 2-for-5 with a double and a pair of RBIs at the plate.

 

Juliana Schuerer also went 2-for-5 with a double and two runs batted in, and Alison Scheuer was 2-for-2 at the plate in an eight-hit attack for the Wildcats.

 

Lee (4-5) goes to Gateway on Thursday.
