Wahconah Girls Shut Out McCann Tech

DALTON, Mass. – Brooke Thomas had a hat trick Sunday to lead the Wahconah girls lacrosse team to a 10-0 win over McCann Tech.

 

Mia Thomas scored twice and assisted on three goals, and Anna Doyle had two goals and an assist in the win.

 

“Today, the girls did a very nice job of finding players on offense,” Wahconah coach Kathy Budaj said. “McCann played well and our goalies Phalyn Renderer and Mya Lee both made some nice saves.”

 

Renderer and Lee were credited with three saves apiece for Wahconah (6-3), which hosts Westfield on Monday.

 

McCann Tech (0-8) hosts Hampshire on Tuesday.
