DALTON, Mass. – Margaret Watkins and Raquel Losty each scored four goals Tuesday to lead the South Hadley girls lacrosse team to a 13-9 win over Wahconah.

Brooke Harrington scored a game-high nine goals, and Mia Thomas scored twice for Wahconah.

“Great game today, unfortunately we came up on the wrong side of things,” Wahconah coach Kathy Budaj said. “They did a nice job of forcing us to turn the ball over and their keeper made some key saves. We are continuing to grow and identify our strengths and weaknesses and will continue to work on them. We need to be a bit more patient with the ball, especially on these hotter days.”

Phallyn Renderer made eight saves for Wahconah (3-2), which goes to Northampton on Thursday.
