BELCHERTOWN, Mass. – Danielle Hagmaier scored five goals, and Phalyn Renderer recorded her 500th career save on Friday as Wahconah beat Belchertown, 13-7.

Renderer ended up with 10 stops to backstop Wahconah, which won its third straight.

“We started off sluggish and slow,” Wahconah coach Kathy Budaj said. “The tenor of the game definitely affected how we played. The fourth quarter, the girls were putting things together and pulled away for the win. Great job in net for Phalyn.”

Brooke Thomas and Mia Thomas each had a hat trick, and Chloe DiFazio scored a pair of goals in the win.

Wahconah (3-2) goes to South Hadley on Tuesday.
