GRANBY, Mass. – Ashlyn Lesure scored seven goals Friday to lead the Hoosac Valley girls lacrosse team to a 15-8 win over Granby.

Regan Shea and Maryn Cappiello each had three goals and two assists in the win.

“Huge win against a good team,” Hoosac Valley coach Molly West said. “They locked Emma [Meczywor] off for most of the first half so I’m proud of Ash and our offense for stepping up to finish.

“Cami [Lovato] was lights out in net and our defense was stellar, best we’ve played all year. Excited to see our growth every game and have lots of little things add up.”

Meczywor finished with two goals and four assists.

Lovato had 10 saves.

Hoosac Valley (5-0) is at Amherst-Pelham on Monday.
