Thompson Leads McCann Tech Boys in Road Win

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Musa Thompson scored four goals and passed out four assists Thursday to lead the McCann Tech boys lacrosse team to a 9-3 win over Springfield Central.

 

“Our defense played their most physical game tonight,” McCann Tech coach Marshall Maxwell said. “Musa Thompson got us going early with three goals in the first quarter. Cole Maxwell was very successful on faceoffs. We have a back to back with Greylock on Friday. Our players need to dig in and play through.”

 

Maxwell and Parker Hart scored two goals apiece, and Brayden Villnave added a goal in the win.

 

Brody Rhinemiller made eight saves to earn the win in goal for the Hornets (3-2).
