Hamp Boys Lacrosse Tops McCann Tech

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- The Northampton boys lacrosse team Monday handed McCann Tech a 12-5 loss to drop the Hornets to .500 on the season.

 

Musa Thmpson scored twice and set up three goals, and Parker Hart finished with a goal and an assist in the loss.

 

“We knew Northampton would be a strong opponent,” McCann Tech coach Marshall Maxwell said. “We had opportunities in the first half on offense and couldn’t capitalize. Northampton created several turnovers for their offense and when they did, made us pay for it. We look forward to getting back to conference play after going 2-1 against higher division teams.”

 

Brody Rhinemiller stopped nine shots in McCann Tech’s goal.

 

The Hornets (2-2) are at Springfield Central on Thursday.
