Pittsfield Baseball Falls at Belchertown
BELCHERTOWN, Mass. – Belchertown’s Josh Misiaszek held Pittsfield to two hits in a 7-1 win on Wednesday.
The Orioles jumped out to a 4-1 lead in the bottom of the first inning and never looked back.
“We didn’t pitch well, we didn’t field well and we made no adjustments at the plate,” Pittsfield coach Drew Pearce said. “You can’t win ball games against good teams when you do that.”
Cam Zerbato singled to drive in Jack Abel in the top of the first. Jason Codey also got a hit for the Generals.
Cam Hillard and Sebastian Herrera split time on the mound for PIttsfield, combining to strike out nine.
Pittsfield (10-2) hosts West Springfield on Friday.
