Pittsfield Baseball Downs Wahconah
PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Pittsfield’s Cam Zerbato struck out 10 in five innings of work Friday to lead the Generals to an 8-2 win over Wahconah at Clapp Park.
Sebastian Herrera threw the final two innings.
Brenden Socie went 2-for-3 with a pair of RBIs to pace Pittsfield on offense.
Zerbato helped his cause with a pair of RBIs.
Aidan Hagmaier doubled for Wahconah, which also got hits from James Rabuse and Tyler Dostie.
Treyvon Keele and Sam McLaughglin combined to give up four earned runs for Wahconah (3-6), which goes to Mount Greylock on Monday.
Pittsfield (9-1) hosts Pope Francis on Monday.
