Mounties Rout Amherst

AMHERST, Mass. – Emery Rotter went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles Wednesday to lead the Mount Greylock baseball team to a 13-1 win over Amherst.
 
Rotter also drove in a pair of runs in a 12-hit attack for the Mounties.
 
Everett Bayliss was 3-for-3 with a double, drove in a pair of runs and scored three times at the top of the order for Mount Greylock.
 
Mason Canata doubled in a run for the Mounties, who jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the top of the first and never looked back.
 
Four different Mount Greylock pitchers combined on a five-inning one-hitter. Cole Wetherell started and went two innings before Cam Miller, Jesse Thompson and Eli Kristensen finished up.
 
Mount Greylock (3-1) hosts Drury on Friday.
