Mount Greylock Boys Soccer Qualifies for Western Mass Tourney

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Finn Welch had a hat trick, and the Mount Greylock boys soccer team wrapped up a berth in the Western Massachusetts tournament with a 4-0 win over Wahconah on Tuesday.

 

Luke Swann had a goal and two assists, and Leo Rossiter set up a goal for the Mounties, who improved to 8-6-1 with one game to play after starting the season 0-5.

 

David Falk made four saves to earn the shutout win.

 

Kyle Brogan made eight stops for Wahconah (5-7-1), which goes to Drury on Thursday.

 

Mount Greylock hosts Lenox on Thursday.
