The Mounties’ best chance for the equalizer came in the final minute of the first half, when Aaron Kleiner’s corner kick caromed off the crossbar, but Mount Greylock was not able to score out of the resulting scramble.
“We were able to move the ball well, but we had a tougher time creating high quality scoring chances in the second half,” Mount Greylock coach Blair Dils said.
Sam Edge stopped eight shots for the Mounties, who were outshot, 9-5.
Mount Greylock (6-4-1) goes to Pittsfield on Friday afternoon.
