Favre Scores Twice in McCann Tech Boys' Road Win

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Joshua Favre scored twice Friday to lead the McCann Tech boys soccer team to a 3-1 win over Putnam.

 

Favre converted an assist from Michael Wojtaszek midway through the first half to give the Hornets a lead, but Putnam responded midway through the second to tie it.

 

Wojtaszek then scored an unassisted goal on a corner kick in the 70th minute, and Favre converted a Matthew Bailey cross from the left four minutes later.

 

Devon Griswold stopped four shots for the Hornets (5-0-1), who go to Hampden Charter on Tuesday.
