Putnam Boys Top Drury

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Rovan Rojas scored a pair of goals Friday to lead the Putnam boys soccer team to a 6-2 win over Drury.

 

Putnam scored five straight after Drury’s Steven Cornell tied the match, 1-1, with a goal in the fifth minute of play.

 

Dom Duteau scored a goal in the 68th minute to cut Putnam’s lead to four goals.

 

Zachary Davignon assisted on both Drury goals.

 

Duteau split time in the goal with Parker Rivard, combining for 12 saves.

 

Drury (2-6) hosts Hoosac Valley on Wednesday.
