 Community Hero: Retired Senior Volunteer ProgramFor more than 50 years, generations of seniors have donated their time to community organizations in the Berkshires through the Retired Senior Volunteer Program.  Retired Seniors Recognized as Champion Busy Bees in 2024Three hundred and five retired seniors gave a total of 40,699 volunteer hours to the community in 2024 through RSVP.  Retired Senior Volunteers Recognized 36K Hours of ServiceAmy Schirmer was recognized as the Volunteer of the Year for creating a weekly therapeutic art class at the George B. Crane Center to help those in recovery from substance use.  RSVP Welcomes New Van to the Volunteer Transportation ProgramThe new 8 passenger van, a 2023 all-wheel drive Toyota Sienna owned by the City of Pittsfield, replaces an 11-year-old Honda Odyssey.
